Outlier Ventures and Futureverse are pleased to announcee the first cohort of the Futureverse Base Camp accelerator program today. The selected teams have ben chosen from close to 500 applications from around the world and are leading early-stage startups focused on accelerating the Open Metaverse through building on The Root Network, a public decentralized blockchain network optimized for metaverse apps and experiences.
The seven carefully chosen companies specialize in payment experiences, AI, improving data and analytics capability, and enabling Web3 native methods to build and retain a user base. Outlier Ventures and Futureverse are pleased to announce the seven chosen teams taking part in the program: Intraverse, Lifelike Digital, MintPass, Nucanon, Plurality, REKT Interactive and Spark.

The chosen teams will receive support from Outlier Ventures and Futureverse’s in-house team of experts and mentors on their product roadmap, community building, entity structuring, strategic partnerships and more. The teams will receive both investment and support from Born Ready, the venture fund and studio founded by Futureverse Co-Founders, Aaron McDonald and Shara Senderoff.
