- Following the successful inaugural accelerator program, Outlier Ventures launches the second RWA Base Camp Accelerator Program to support early-stage founders.
- The RWA Base Camp will double down on startups building infrastructure, applications, and products that will fuel the mainstream adoption of tokenized real-world assets (RWA) across industries.
- The 12-week virtual accelerator program will include workshops with subject matter experts from Outlier Ventures and mentorship from industry experts.
- Applications are now open and will close at the end of August 2024. The program will start in early September 2024.
- Outlier Ventures published an updated RWA thesis, identifying trends and exploring verticals we view as promising opportunities.
Introducing our new RWA Base Camp Accelerator program
Half a decade after the initial hype, the opportunity for RWA tokenizaton is finally ripe. We are already seeing RWA gaining strong adoption by challenger and incumbent players in and outside the financial realm. We look forward to accelerating the best teams and bringing this vision to fruition.
Our first program saw us accelerate six startups dedicated to developing infrastructure and applications for tokenizing real-world assets, including Credbull, Credible Finance, Haraka, Isle Finance, Moreliquid, and Silver Koi. “Following the tremendous success of our first program, we are doubling down on our search for the best builders laying the groundwork for tokenizing Real World Assets. We are excited to support startups that address real market needs with innovative solutions,” says RWA Accelerator Lead, Elliot Leimer.
After working with these promising start-ups, surveying the ecosystem, and following their progress, we’ve also had an opportunity to dig deeper and refine our vision to identify the most promising opportunities across this vertical. Applications are now open until late August 2024. The program will kick off in early September.
Revisiting our views on the RWA ecosystem after the inaugural RWA Base Camp
In 2023, we articulated our vision for RWA in our thesis “Tokenization Of RWAs: Beyond The Hype”, followed by a hugely successful cohort. We remain bullish on building infrastructure, applications, and products to fuel the mainstream adoption of tokenized real-world assets (RWA) across industries.
Upon evaluating the investment process and the program, we have decided to seek projects that are building across the following verticals:

- RWA Market Makers
