The Summer 2022 cohort has been handpicked from over 400 applicants, and includes teams spanning across Canada, Ireland, Singapore, Spain, and the US. We’re extremely excited to welcome teams who represent the Open Metaverse OS thesis and are highly additive to its stack, directly contributing to the development of Web3.
Outlier Ventures was founded in 2014, which has meant that we have had the opportunity to experience several Web3 cycles over the years. Naturally, market events trigger the entrance or exodus of builders in the space. Whilst market cycles are seasonal, our commitment to backing great founders and accelerating early stage startups exponentially grows.
We have condensed several years of applied learning at all layers of the Web 3 Stack into a 3 month accelerator program to help early stage startups entering the space to navigate its complexities and nuances. We engage founders and teams as unique – and provide a flexible framework through tailored content and mentorship to take their company from inception to growth.

ANSWERABLE – Social Commerce 3.0
The $5.5T global e-commerce market is facing a critical inflection point. Aging e-commerce tech stacks are unable to meet today’s customer expectations. Consumers hate being stuck between chatbots and queues resulting in abandoned shopping carts or even worse, returns. Brands face mounting pressure to drive profitability as new limits on third party tracking. This has lead to higher marketing costs and lower conversion rates that are negatively impacting companies’ EBITDAs.
Answerable has a Web3 community for product and service commendations. Community members are a part of a global talent graph based on “My Trust Score”, which ranks people based on the quality of their advice. Community members work towards earning an Answerable Token which recognizes their expertise in a subject matter area.
On the brand side, Answerable lets brands invite community members as micro-influencers to answer questions about the products and service. Brands can now tap into a global talent platform.
