Infrastructure for Scalability
Develop solutions that focus on improving user experience and driving adoption while effectively addressing scalability concerns. Create innovative tools to streamline user onboarding and facilitate seamless integration into the Web3 ecosystem.
Real-World Use Cases
Explore novel use cases of blockchain technology, from tokenizing physical assets to asset distribution and incentivization use-cases, as well as asset management solutions.
Web 2.5
NEAR serves as the bridge between Web2 and Web3, facilitating the transition to a more decentralised internet. We are particularly interested in projects that explore loyalty, rewards, and social platforms within this Web2.5 context.
New AI
Explore innovative use cases in the intersection of Blockchain and AI which have the potential to transform industries, from finance and healthcare to supply chain management and beyond.
About NEAR Horizon
NEAR Horizon is a startup support platform to help Founders connect with like-minded people and organizations who are best able to accelerate their growth. In addition to these immediate resources, founders can apply for credits that cover service costs in critical development areas including marketing, legal, back-office finance, product, and infrastructure.

Any Base Camp program is designed to nurture teams whose business potential best leverages the program’s protocol and design strengths and also aligns with Outlier Ventures’ Metaverse OS Thesis. Cohorts are generally selected through the lens of growing the protocol ecosystem across various layers such as: NFTs & Gaming, DeFi, Infrastructure, Services, and Middleware.
Participating startups will gain exposure to both Outlier Ventures’ and the protocol’s ecosystems, offering an unparalleled opportunity for founders to scale their technology and grow their business.
The Base Camp Accelerator is currently planned to be a fully remote and virtual program. There may be the opportunity for in-person summits in London or other European locations once the pandemic situation improves. We have so far invested in companies from Australia, Brazil, USA, Canada, Philippines, Nigeria, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Poland, UK, Switzerland.
