Our main focus in Ascent is to maximize the success of token launches based on each project’s objectives. In order to achieve a successful token launch, projects need to reach certain milestones and levels of success. Therefore, we assess and address all aspects of the business, including (but not limited to):
- Legal (navigating the legal landscape)
- Product/technology advice
- Tokenomics and structuring
- Token design and token engineering
- NFT strategy (if applicable)
- Community building and marketing
- Hiring assistance
- Fundraising strategy (reviewing pitch decks)
- Navigating the distribution landscape (including introductions to service providers)
- Establishing a token distribution strategy and post-listing strategy
For projects which aren’t yet ready to launch a token (but are quite advanced) or those who are post-launch, we provide comprehensive Web3 advisory services. For advanced projects, our expertise extends to areas such as token design, token engineering, tokenomics, and high-level product/technology advisory, among others. We cater to the unique needs of each project, ensuring that our support is tailored and beneficial at any stage of their journey.
We maintain regular and ongoing engagement with projects, which includes conducting 1-2-1 catch-up calls on a weekly basis to discuss all aspects of the business. However, we recognize that each project has its own specific needs and preferences, and therefore, our advisory services are tailored to accommodate different working styles and frequency of engagement. In addition to the scheduled calls, we foster continuous communication through channels like Slack and email, ensuring a comprehensive and supportive approach. When specific issues arise, we schedule separate calls with our subject matter experts to address specific issues. Our primary aim is to consistently support projects towards a successful token launch, allowing flexibility in the way we engage to best meet their needs.
Ascent provides valuable support in refining projects’ fundraising strategies. While we provide expert guidance, it’s essential to clarify that we do not provide regulated advice or actively engage in the fundraising process itself. It’s important to note that, as a token launch program, our primary objective is to focus on facilitating successful token launches rather than fundraising efforts. Therefore, it is expected that projects joining Ascent have already allocated adequate capital for their token launch, including considerations for potential expenses such as listing fees. Our role is to help projects navigate the path to a successful token launch with a strong foundation for long-term success.
Typically, projects that have already completed their seed funding round and are now seeking private rounds or Series A investments are suitable for engagement with Ascent. These projects should ideally have achieved product-market fit with at least a minimum viable product (MVP) and some level of traction. We evaluate projects on a case-by-case basis and maintain high entry requirements to ensure the quality and potential for success of the projects we work with.
